Can Rosuvastatin, Verapamil And Melatonin Be Taken Together?

Good morning, I am taking a maintenance medications such as Rosubastatin for my cholesterol & verapamil for palpitation. Is it safe for me to take Melatonin 5mg? I have a hard time returning to sleep once I wake in the middle of the night & my average sleep is only four hours.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Melatonin is safe and has no interaction with atorvastatin or verapamil. So, you can take it without any worries.

If your sleep problem still persistS after 1 month of melatonin, it is advisable to consult psychiatrist for sleep disturbances.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Kaushal Bhavsar
