Can SGOT And SGPT Levels Be Abnormal After A Liver Transplant?

Can SGOT and SGPT levels be abnormal after a liver transplant? The liver transplant was done 2.5 yrs ago and all levels have been normal so far. But there s a sudden increase in SGOT and SGPT levels. No alcohol consumption. Have been taking medicines regularly.

Sudden increase in SGPT and SGOT after 2.5 years of liver transplant indicate acute viral infection of the liver. Immediate physician assistant with proper care control the issue rapidly.
