Can Scorpio Sting Lead To Numbness In Lips And Tongue?

I got stung by a scorpion last night. It got me on the arm. I wasn t sure what had happened thanks to ambian, so I went back to sleep. A few minutes later, I felt something on my neck and swatted at it. It turned out to be a scorpion. I went back to bed after searching the room for more. When I woke this morning, my lips and tounge were (are) a little numb? The arm is fine. How long should I wait before becoming concerned with numb lips?

Thanks for using HCM, I understand your concern and will try to give you my medical advice, when the scorpion bit you inoculated some toxins, that's the reason you feel your lips and tongue numb you should get better in 24 hours or less, just in case that the symptoms get worse or you start with a new one (short breath, nausea or something abnormal )you need go to the doctor immediately, to drink some antihistamines can minimize the discomfort. I hope that my advice has been helpful, take care
