Can Seroquel Be Discontinued Cold Turkey?

My husband stopped taking seraquel cold turkey tonight. We got rid of the pills. He had a real bad experience of being out of it last night on it. He only takes t for a sleeping problem. He s been on it since 2004, is he going to be alright. He was taking 300 mg per night. YYYY@YYYY

I really appreciate your concern, such symptoms is very likely in case of sedative pill if being stop, but this is nothing to worry, your husband need to be patience, nothing would go wrong, it could be withdrawal symptoms, actually drug need to be stop gradually and not at once, hope this information may helps you, take care and have a nice day.
