Can Stivarga Be Used For Treating A Liver Tumour That Started As Colon Cancer? Should We Stop All Treatment?
My dad has stage 4 colon cancer that has spread to other areas of his body, mainly his liver. After almost a year of chemo, the tumor in the colon has decreased in size. He has a tumor that is occupying 80% of his liver. His doctor told him that the next step is to take Stivarga. Stivarga is very damaging to the liver. Do you think it is wise to start Stivarga when it can cause further damage to his liver? We were told that the tumor on his liver will be the thing that ultimately kills him. I would like him to stop all treatment. Please advise. Thank you.

There is a side effect of the liver damage, for STIVARGA.
His liver is 80%cancer, and 20 % liver, if it is left like that, there is a possibility of spread of the cancer to the rest of the liver.
If he is treated with stivarga, there is a possibility of cure of the cancer, if it don't show the effect on the liver.
Give him more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and protein rich foods for reconstruction of the liver.
