Can Strontium 680 Ml Help Strengthen Bones Besides Calcium-rich Diet?

I am 57 yrs old woman and recently I was diagnosed with osteoporosis. I refused to take the medicine prescribed for my doctor, which is Alendronate 70 mg tab, because the side effects. A natural doctor recommended me to take Strontium 680 ml per day. Do you think that it is good enough for keep my bones strong , beside a diet rich in calcium?

Hi dear..can understand the problem but strontium is used as adjuvant therapy for osteoporosis..its not a complete alternative for calcium and vitamin D supplement so if you have to continue with it and calcium rich diet..you have to monitor your calcium and vitamin D levels regularly.you can also consult your orthopedic doctor to give you alternative or taper the dose for relief from side effects
