Can Subutex Show Up In A Urine Drug Screen Test?

Hi i am a mother of 1 and im 15 weeks pregnant. I had an OBGYN appointment the other day and when i left i looked at my paperwork and at the bottom under Orders placed during today s visit it said Drug Screen Urine, Rflx confirmation. It concerned me bacause i pinched a nerve in my back prior to my visit and a family member had given me Subutex for the pain. I am not a drug user or an addict but im afraid when they get the results back they will see me as such and treat me as such. I didnt have a drug test with my first pregnancy, that im aware of. I have heard some terrible stories online and i dont want my baby taken from me because of one drug test. I am currently not taking anything for pain and will not take any in the future. I guess im wanting to know what steps i should take from here and what i should expect to hear from my OBGYN?

Depends on the test. Frankly, I doubt it will come up positive. The usual screens are cheaper than my $5 office one which includes subutex. It probably only includes heroin and no other opiate.
HOWEVER, it is quite dangerous to use drugs when pregnant. There's the harm we know. The fetus can go into withdrawal. Withdrawal can precipitate a miscarriage. Then the harm we don't know. We haven't analyzed the dangers from subutek in any sort of organized way. We can say there can be withdrawal but we don't know the risk and how long a pregnant woman can be on it without getting withdrawal.
