Can Temazepam Be Taken While On Augmentin?
Hi, I am on 875mg augmentin twice a day, and taking methylprednisolone 4g. (five today) and I haven t slept for 47 hours. The steroid is keeping me wound up like a clock. Would it be safe for me to take either a 15 mg or a 30mg temazapam tonight to help me sleep, or would there be a nasty drug interaction??

The answer is yes it is safe to take them, there is no interaction. Just be careful not to take temazepam for too long, not over two weeks as it creates dependence.

Looking at the medication you mention I do not see any cause to worry about interactions, there is no significant interaction, between those drugs. So you can take Temazepam, but I must caution it that it is not a long term solution, it is fine for one week or two at most but in the long term it can create tolerance, and dependence so for long term use other alternatives should be sought.
