Can Terconazole Cream Be Used For Probable Yeast Infection?

I have not been seen by my doctor for what I suspected is a yeast infection (feels very similar to ones I ve had before but is accompanied by vaginal dryness and no discharge). Called my GYN who recommended I try terconazole Cream 0.4% for 7 days. I am about to take night 6 and feel as if I have not even improved 1/2 way from how bad this was on day 1. I am a 44 year old female who has had similar issue before and was prescribed triamcinolone acetonide cream 2x daily which worked amazingly well after 1 day. It is now the weekend and I m still hurting and would like to either (1) take the Terconazole cream tonight at bedtime AND use the Triamcinolone cream externally, or (2) try the triamcinolone acetonide cream tonight and in the morning and see how it makes me feel. Is it safe to try either of these options until I can get into the GYN on Monday? Please help!

hi healthcare magic user which type of fungal infection or local eczema it is we have confirm with local examination. If I would have been your doctor I would have done examination to see what is it.
since already you have started terconazol cream you should continue that and continue course and consult gynaecologist on Monday. if have too much burning and irritation you can apply soframycin cream two to three times a day for soothing purpose. wear cotton undergarments. wash local area keep it clean and dry.
