Can Thyroxine And Duphaston Be Taken Together During Pregnancy?

Hi...I need help...I am taking thyroxine from the last four years now....I have a son who took birth after eight years of my marriage in 2014.coz of my polysitic overies...n now I m 36..I want to get pregnant again...I missed my perriods for over the last two months n to confirm my pregnancy I took deuphaston for five days n after a week my periods came I.e on 26sep n still they haven t ended along with clots n everything....my husband belives that I was pregnant n coz of taking Deuphaston I had miscarriage.....he believes as I was on thyroxine n I took deuphaston it resulted in miscarriage....so my question is if thyroxine n deuphaston are taken at the same time it will protect the pregnancy or vice versa...

Hello dear
I understand your concern
Your miscarriage is not due to duphaston.
There is no harm to take thyroxine and duphaston together.
Duphaston contain progesterone and it help to maintain the pregnancy and promote the growth of the baby.
You should find the other cause of the miscarriage like hormonal imbalance, endometriosis.
Consult the gynecologist and undergo proper investigations like reproductive hormone analysis, USG scan, ovarian follicle study.
