Can Tradjenta And Invokana Be Taken Together For Elevated Blood Sugar Levels?

My father has been taking Trajenda for about a year. Recent lab work showed his blood sugar was elevated and Invokana was added. Just wanted to make sure taking both is a common practice. He is 78 years old, 5 10 and weighs around 200 lbs. Thanks

Hi,
Both Trajenta (linagliptin) and Invokana (Canagliflozin) can be used together for the treatment of Type 2 diabetes.
This combination will help your father in controlling blood sugar as well as reducing some weight.

Hope this may be helpful to you, if so hit thanks.
