Can Trapic MF Be Taken Long Term To Control Heavy Periods?
Suffering from non stop heavy mensis with clots from last three months.I am 45,had normal periods earlier. I have been advised trapic mf 2-2-2 to stop bleeding and it works. Is it ok to continue like this every time.Ultrasound reads posterior myometrium measuring app8*6*5mm- can represent adenomyoma. My gynae says take trapic mf in those days and wait n watch for few periods as this is perimenopausal fase.Hot flashes n mood swings r there. My bp shoots to 170/100 since it all started 3 months back for which I am taking arkamin h 1/2 daily.plz advice.
Hello ma'am. Thank you for writing us here. Heavy bleeding for months at your age is because of the menopause. Hormonal imbalances causes your mood swings and also trapic MF 2-2-2 would do well. Suspecting an adenomyoma is obvious but not necessary it would be the cause. The medications are keeping your hormonal balance so you should go for it. And there's nothing to be worried of alright? Its normal and every woman goes through this stage in life. Regards Dr Gunjan
