Psychiatrist 's  Response
As you have noticed, Trika has high dependence potential. In other words, it is highly habit forming. It can also cause cognitive impairment, especially in old age. There are other medicines such as Clonazepam (which are far less habit forming) that can be substituted for Trika. These medicines then can be slowly tapered off. You should seek consultation from a psychiatrist who will 1. substitute trika with some other medicine; 2. suggest life style changes including principles of sleep hygiene and 3. may advise additional interventions for your anxiety.
I hope this has answered your question.
