Can UTI Cause Pain In Thigh?

my 70 yo sister is getting ready for a femor replacement hpwever she a uti that want go away. she had been on antibotic and still has the uti . she had back surgery in December and hip replacement 5 yrs ago. whats going on with this uti. can it be related to the thigh pain?

I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
Urinary tract infection can give rise to thigh pain. If she has persistent urine infection then she should go for culture and sensitivity test and take treatment accordingly. She she also go for blood sugar test to rule out diabetes.
Consult your doctor and take treatment accordingly.
