my 70 yo sister is getting ready for a femor replacement hpwever she a uti that want go away. she had been on antibotic and still has the uti . she had back surgery in December and hip replacement 5 yrs ago. whats going on with this uti. can it be related to the thigh pain?

If she has persistent urine infection then she should go for culture and sensitivity test and take treatment accordingly. She she also go for blood sugar test to rule out diabetes.
