Hello I had a prescription for Vyvanse after being diagnosed with marked degree of ADHD approximately 2 years ago. When there was a lapse in my insurance I had to stop taking it for several months because it is an expensive drug. By the time my insurance was reinstated my doctor had moved to a different clinic and was not accepting new patients (although I had been a patient of his previously, I was still considered a new patient). I have attempted to have my prescription reinstated several times over the last few months and for one bizarre reason or another have been unable to do so. One doctor had a freak accident and was not in the office for 6 months; I was not informed until I arrived at my appointment. Another office neglected to tell me that their nurse practitioner did not write prescriptions for psych meds and I did not learn this until I got to my appointment; the situation has negatively impacted almost every aspect of my life l: professional, personal relationship-wise; emotional and physical as well, as it was also effective in treatment of my binge eating disorder. ls there a way to have a prescription issued online? I m at my wit s end.
