Can Xepagan Be Taken For Stomach Pain And Vomiting?
My daughter is 10yrs old and having stomach pain probably gastric or virus since last night. She vomitted a lot last night and now having vomitting sensation. Stomach pain is still there. Im giving her Calpol 6 Plus and Gaviscon. Can I give her Xepagan5 along with these medication? Please advise. Thanks
Xepagan contains promethazine Hcl. It is used to treat allergy symptoms such as itching, runny nose, sneezing, itchy or watery eyes, hives, and itchy skin rashes.
Xepagan also prevents motion sickness, and treats nausea and vomiting or pain after surgery. It is also used as a sedative or sleep aid. Thus, yes, you can give Xepagan 5 to your 10 year old.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Prabhash Verma, General & Family Physician
