Can Z Pak Be Taken While Suffering From Bipolar Disorder?

my husband has pneumonia, dr prescribed cefdiniir and a z pack. I understand a z pack is a steroid and should not be taken with mental health, bipolar disorder, issues. I want to hold back the z pack until I can talk to the dr. monday. would you agree. Husband also is cardiac, diabetic , has hypertention, etc

Z pack is not steroid. It is an antibiotic (Azithromycin). If your doctor prescribed it, then you can take it. Your doctor might have given the combination to get good coverage of pathogens.
