Can Z-pack Tablets Cause Abdominal Cramps?
I get severe stomach upset when I take erythromycin, even when taken with food and probiotics. My MD prescribed a z-pack for me for a bacterial infection. Will it cause stomach cramps, too? What can I do to minimize stomach problems other than taking with food? Thank you, Carey Toran YYYY@YYYY

Well, as compared to Erythromycin the side effects like stomach upset, cramps, diarrhea, rash, liver injury, etc are less with the use of Z-pack tablets.
If it causes the stomach upset you may take a PPI which will be helpful in reducing the stomach problem if any caused by Z-pack tablets.
