Can Zestril Be Taken For High Blood Pressure?
Is it ok to give Zestril in PM if your blood pressure is to high. I am asking because I have recently started care for my stepdad who has a Rx for Zestril, He take 2.5 MG daily but was told to give him an extra 2.5 MG if his blood pressure is over 140.

We'd like to see blood pressures in the 130's over 80's or lower when we're treating high blood pressure.
So it's OK to give him the extra dose of Zestril when his systolic number is over the 140 range
