Can Zoloft Manage Depression And Anxiety Better Than Trazadone?

I have been given a prescription for Zoloft which I ve been reluctant to take which I understand my from my family physician isn t unusual. I also have other associates with a health care background have raised concerns about which drug might best address the issue of anxiety/depression. I am currently taking 75mg of Trazadone to give me a good rest, and I m happy to say it s working well. But I remain a bit unsettled am feel anxious with definite signs of depression. Is there a drug you d think might best help me raise the serotonin levels and mange the symptoms I m currently experiencing. Or is there some way for my family physican to better determine which of the choices available might be best suited to me? many thanks R Rheautl

Thanks for asking at Healthcare Magic. I read your question and I understand your concern.
Zoloft although safest than trazodone but trazodone has two major advantages.
Besides antidepressant it is also anxiolytic and hypnotic means induces sleep while other serotonin reuptake inhibitors causes insomnia.
I would like to continue this medication.
Also do regular aerobic and anaerobic excersize, take plenty of water, do mantel relaxation excersizes like Yoga and meditation.
