Can A Chiari I Malformation Without Associated Syrinx With Cerebellar

Can a Chiari I malformation without associated syrinx with cerebellar tonsils which extend 4 mm beyond the cranial outlet mimic a cervical disc herniation? I had a cervical fusion at C6-7 in June of 2015 and after moving some boxes at work, felt a sudden onset of neck pain with left arm radiapathy. My cervical MRI didn't show any damage to the fusion or new herniations, but did show the above. I've also suffered from headaches me entire life. This pain is actually more severe in my neck than my disc hernation. The MRI did also show spurring at C5-6 and C6-7 with no cord compression.
