Seizures began with me 40 years ago when I had encephalitis and lost 20% -25% of my brain. The were grand mal (8 to 12 minutes) seizures for 10 years. I went off the medication for the seizures on April 1, 2000 & did not have any seizures again until Oct. 18, 2018. The new seizures are very different, they only last around 10 seconds. CAT scans, MRI, EEG, sleep study and other test have not found reasons for the new seizures. Looking at my 2017 Planner I found that on Oct. 2, 2017 I had a cortisone shot for the pain on my right knee. Could the cortisone shot the new seizures? Thank you for your time and attention.
