Hi, welcome to our site. I am Dr Saumya Mittal, MD.
Read your query. That is a very significant question and i appreciate your problem. I will try my best to answer your query
A couple of things are what you need to know.
First TB affects almost everyone in the Indian subcontinent (thats where I am assuming you are from). Some people have overt manifestations of the disease, the others have silent disease. So it is absolutely possible that you may have had an infection without knowing. However the chances of such conditions are slim. Yet possible.
Second thing you need to know is that
tuberculosis mimics a lot of diseases. And When I say a lot, I mean that it can affect any system and look like at least one condition that affects that system. So you should meet a specialist and have the diagnosis confirmed first
And lastly, TB is almost completely curable now (barring a few resistant cases). So I would say that you should not be discouraged.
I hope this helps you. Inform the reports mentioned above/if any other so I can be of help further. Best of luck.
