Can A Bipolar Person Live A Normal Life Without Medication?
If one is not on medication and is bi-polar how long can one last with this condition. They acuse the other person of everything, screams and hollars etc. It is truly scary!!! Sometimes they do not remember what they said and just lashes out at people.
Hello, If there is no precipitation of either depressive, manic or hypomaic episode, then a person can be almost normal. But the attacks tend to occur in episodic manner 2 or 3 in a year and last for quite some time. So being without medication may not be ideal. Along with medication psychotherapy, counselling etc also are needed Consulting a competent psychiatrist is the best method. Apart from drug therapy family support s very essential. Thanks
