Can A Blood Vessel Pop During Oral Sex ?
Hello Doctor, I just got back from urgent care. I couldn t get my nose to stop bleeding (2 hours of non-stop bleeding). The doctor at urgent care packed my left nostril (where the bleeding occurs), and referred me to the ENT. From my observations, from the multiple nose bleeds, I believe I popped a blood vessel. My question is, can someone pop a blood vessel performing oral sex? I tend to hold my breath , and get tear-eyed when coming up for air. This question is a bit uncofortable to ask, but am concerned. Thank you.

The nose has a network of fine blood vessels , also called as littles area , which can bleed more even on minor trauma .so it is possible that you might have injured the vessels during sex but whether it is a major vessel or minor capillaries can be said only by your ENT doctor after the bleeding decreases and thorough examination of the nostril.do not panic .You will be fine once the diagnosis is made and with appropriate treatment started.
