Can A Blue Eszopiclone Pill Be Replaced With A White Eszopiclone Pill?
I was prescribed a white pill with 54396 on one side eszopiclone 3mg. instead of my normal blue pill eszopiclone 3 mg. They said it was a factory change but I tried my first one tonight at 11p.m. & it is now 3:42 a.m. It just does not work the same, I am still awake. What should I do ?
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
You should know that the effect of a pill is based on the dose of the active ingredient. Since the pills have the same amount (3mg) of Eszopiclone drug, then they should produce the same effects.
The change in color is only due to factory decisions or change. You may need some days to get used to the new format.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Manoku Eni
