Can A Cancer Patient Have Ensure As An Alternative For Fresubin?

hello my uncle was diagnosed wit esophageal cancer. he was prescribe fresubin energy shake 200ml that he has to take 2 bottles per day. can we give ensure shake for alternative or is it not recommended, financially the fresubin is very costly. thank you

Fresubin powder is composed of Beta Carotene, Carbohydrate, Fat, Protein, Vitamin A, Vitamin D and Vitamin E as active ingredients.
It is used as a food supplement in conditions such as Cancers, Vitamin a deficiency, Eye problems, Skin diseases, Heart attack, Chest pain and other such conditions.
Ensure powder contains several other ingredients namely Biotin, Calcium, Carbohydrate, Chloride, Choline, Chromium, Copper, Folic Acid, Iodine, Iron, Magnesium, Manganese, Molybdenum, Niacinamide, Pantothenic Acid, Phosphorus, Potassium, Protein, Selenium, Sodium, Vitamin A, Vitamin B1, Vitamin B12, Vitamin B2, Vitamin B6, Vitamin C, Vitamin D, Vitamin E, Vitamin K and Zinc as active ingredients.
When food is not enough and the nutritional gap needs to be filled, Ensure can help to overcome with medical needs, getting healthy, or simply staying active.
