Can A Concussion Lead To An Ear Infection?
Hi doctor, is there any way that a concussion can lead to an ear infection? can the head trauma somehow dislodge wax inside an ear drum, causing an infection? There was also an extraction of teeth surgery done the day before the head trauma. the ear infection was discovered 2 days after the head trauma

I really appreciate your concern, head trauma can not cause the ear infection but ear infection may cause the cerebral complication it is other way around, if this is the ear infection then care need to be taken because infection may spread up to brain tissue hope this information helps.
