Can A Constantly Pulsating Prostate Be Stopped By A Prostate Massage?
I am 22 years old I have had a prostate exam and the Dr told me my prostate is enlarged. I constantly feel my prostate pulsating it does not stop. How can I get it to stop. My Dr prescribed me flomax to help with urination pressure.so my question is how do I get it to stop should I get a prostate massage?
Usually, enlarged prostate is noted in elder people (40 +). In your case, I think your prostate might have gone inflammation or infection. If you have any test (ultrasound? PSA level? or any other blood/urine test), please provide the reports to me to analyze them further.
Next, Flomax is the brand name for the generic tamsulosin. This is an alpha-blocker and it will help relax the prostate muscles; thus, you won't feel that pressure during urination.
Urine culture is recommended to rule out/confirm UTI (urinary tract infection) and get it treated adequately.
Prostate massage can be an option. Do not do it by yourself, as might cause laceration or other complications. Can ask your urologist or your healthcare provider to run prostate massage for you.
Saw palmetto and uva-ursi supplements can also help.
Wish fast recovery.
