Can A Cyst On The Frontal Lobe Of The Brain Impair Memory?

my friend was prescribed Aricept for memory problems approx. 3 years ago. she has a cyst on her frontal lobe. we are wondering if its possible the cyst is interfering with her memory, she s only 54 years old, has RSD, fibromayalgia and disc disease. They are checking for diabeties now. Any ideas?
