General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Frankly speaking, a repeat knee replacement at 84 years is clearly not indicated from medical point of view. Rather than providing benefit to her, we would probably end up her in more moribund condition, and I strictly suggest to avoid such decision for further care. Let her put on assisted physiotherapy and other supportive measures to get best possible outcome from current issue.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
