Can A Faint Be Caused By Exhaustion For A 63-year-old?

My husband is 63, yesterday he got hot suddenly, I think he was sweating. Shortly after that he passed out briefly. I received this information from a friend, so I m not sure of other symptoms. He did not have lunch and this happened late in the day. I don t think he was drinking much water either. Could that be heat exhaustion or something else?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Heat stroke can be considered provided a valid exposure time period to excess heat without drinking adequate water during the time being. Otherwise a cerebro vascular stoke with vascular insufficiency can be the major issue to be sorted out with an MRI brain once primary work up for the vital parameters as blood pressure and blood sugar causes are ruled out here.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
