General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Based on your history, fibroids are the cause of abdominal pain and heavy bleeding.Hormonal pills or surgical intervention may be required to reduce the symptoms. Contraceptive pills will reduce the bleeding and also any abdominal pain or cramps. Excessive blood loss will also be reduced. Regular monitoring of the fibroid by pelvic scan is essential.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
