Can A Gastric Bypass And Anal Rectal Prolapse Cause Blood In Stools ? How Can This Condition Be Treated ?
Hi. I have had blood in my stool...about a tablespoon everytime and pain and irritaion. I have constant loose stool due to a gastric bypass and have had a anal rectal prolapse. Should I be worried? what should I do? my lower back has also been hurting. I am 32 years old
all your symptoms r due to r prolapse ... u need to look a good surgeon for rectal correction surgery ....he can plan asurgery after some hemostatics & antibiotics if needed
Hello;
welcome to HealthcareMagic
The blood in stools may be due to piles which can be in your case as you also have a history of prolapse.So do not neglect and get examined by a doctor; preferable a surgeon to find the cause of bleeding and then get it treated.Also as you are having this pain during stool if it is a spasmodic pain which is off and on there can be some infection of intestine.Please get examined.
Thanks
