Can A Low Platelet Count Cause Dizziness And Itchy Extremities?

Mg wife had fever for three days and after consulting local physician he advise CBC n prescribed some medicine. Now she has no fever but after retest CBC platelet count was lower to 62k. She feels dizziness itching palm n feet sole. Attached test report n prescription for ur valuable advise.

First, your prescription and reports have not been attached. So please attach them.

Second, the dizziness and itching is probably due to the infection, not due to the platelet count. Her fever must have been reduced due to the medications like Paracetamol which is a commonly prescribed medicine for fever.

I would suggest plenty of fluids. This would help her regain volume of plasma and this is frequently helpful in reducing vertigo. A Lactocalamine lotion application may help the itching of the feet.
