Can A Misplaced Epidural Cause A Nerve Damage?

I had a misplaced epidural during labor 3 months ago and have had constant bilateral ear ringing 24 hours a day since then. I am seeing a neurologist who thinks that eventually this will go away, but hasn't even ordered an MRI. Have you ever seen this in your practice? I think I have some nerve damage or something from the epidural.

A misplaced epidural is common BUT, it certainly cannot cause everything. Ears are just not connected directly to the spine. It is like flipping a switch in the bathroom and the car starting.
