Can A Muscle Pull Or Piercing Cause Tragus?

Hi doctor iv had my tragus for 12 days now and it sore behind. I still have a little pain almost like bruised pain on the side of my face. Is this normal? Then i noticed last night my kneck is really painful like iv pulled a muscle i was working out and did some boxing also im wondering if i pulled a muscle or if its something to do with the piercing. Thank you.

With the work-out, you could have pulled a muscle. However, if the site pierced has any inflammation, that too could lead to neck pain. In the former, all you need to do is to give rest to the part, and muscle injury will resolve. In the latter, you should consult the surgeon who did the piercing, to rule out any infection, and if present, you amy have to take a course of antibiotics.
