Can A Pimple Under Eye Cause Severe Headache?
I had a headache on my left and right temples and both the left and right sides of the back of my head. Behind my eyes hurt also bright light hurt them. I popped a pimple that was under my left eye along the left temple then the ache at the back of my head immediately stopped and I felt less sore on the temples. I squeezed the pimple till blood emerged. It s now a bump it s pulsing, the bleeding stopped but the headache continued only on my right temple and right side of the back of my head. Is the pimple the reason for the headache? What should I do?

1. The pimple under left eye along the left temple might be due to acne or infection.
If you popped the pimple, then, the pus pressure is relieved, so the pain on left side of head is relieved too.
2. The soreness you feel now might be due to inflammation of pimple before and after popping. That will be subside in a few days.
Please keep in mind that there is less muscle mass on the face, so the nerves are close to the skin surface. This makes every pimple very sensitive and sore.
3. Take ibuprofen for the pain, and avoid forced popping the pimple again. Instead, apply alternating warm and cold compresses to let the pimple popping gradually.
If no improvement in the headache, other causes should be looked for.
