Can A Pregnancy Test Be Negative But I Still Miss My Period?

Hi I am Joshua 24 years old, I missed my period for about 35 days. I never missed my period before. My last period was 31st aug. My urine and blood pregnancy test are negative. I went to doctor she did some tests and prescribed me folicarb a follic acid tablet, Metben plus tablets for 30 days and to check after 15 days. I followed this prescription for 5 days. Is there any chance for me to become pregnant.

Hi.
Pregnancy test with a strip is usually sensitive enough to role out pregnancy if results are negative. So there is a minimal chance (almost zero) of becoming pregnant for you. Absence of menses in the absense of pregnancy can be due to a couple of causes. You should consult a gynaecologist and under go thorough checkup and evaluation for a comfirmative diagnosis. Regards.
