Can A Thyroid Diagnostics Explain Pressure In Neck?
I have being a pressure in my neck for 6 months. The thyroid ultrasound came as follow: Is this pressure related to the diagnostics.the right-sided thyroid nodule is in the superior aspect of the right thyroid lobe and measyres 11mm x 9 mm x 4 mm.It is oval and heterogeneous with the periphery that is predominantly hypoechoic in the central region wich is essentially isoechoic.
thank you for your query.... yes pressure symptoms in the neck can be due to an enlarged thyroid mass....a right sided thyroid nodule of the size you have mentioned might be a reason for your pressure in the neck... however other causes should be ruled out...
hope this was helpful...
