Can A Type II Diabetic Take Glyciphage And Galvus For Hypoglycemia?
Dear Sir, I am type II diabetes person, Now on galvus 1-0-1 ,it causes hypo glycemia had seizure also ,normally it occurs around 12 noon to 2.00 p.m.Shall i take Glycipage SR 1-0-0 and galvus 0-0-1 combination .Please advice Mani YYYY@YYYY
Severe persistent hypoglycemia causing seizures has to be evaluated. If the cause was due to oral hypoglycemic drug than the dosage of the drugs needs to be adjust by the advise from your doctor.
In my opinion do not take sustained and extended release formulation of OHA's. Do not miss any meal while on OHA'S. Frequent monitor blood sugar.and adjust the dose according.
