A
stomach upset can be possible with either veg or non veg diet due to various reasons as viral, bacterial infection or water induced contamination of the GI tract as well. My guidelines for better recovery:
- Drink more liquids in sessions
- Prefer easily digestible food stuffs as rice curd, dal, hochpoch, organic fresh fruits etc
- Avoid all spices, junk foods, dairy fat
- Continue mobilisation and acceptable aerobics (till the pain scale allows and permits)
- Prescription of anti spasmodic as
drotaverine or else with your primary care
- Off the counter
proton pump inhibitor as
omeprazole or
lansoprazole to be consumed with sips of water on empty stomach.
