Can Abdominal Pain In The Area Of Right Ovary Impact Fertility?
I am 21 years old and in good health. I am 5,3 , normal weight and have been trying to get pregnant. I have been trying for the past 10 months. I was treated for a bv infection and it cleared up although it might have returned. I recently had a colposcopy and my results came back as having only mildly abnormal cells. I have been having moderate to severe pain in my abdomen in the area of my right ovary. It is sometimes sharp and sometimes dull and lasts for a few hours at a time. It comes and goes at random times throughout the day and is very uncomfortable. Could this be a sign of infertility? Should I go back to my gynecologist?
HELLO DEAR, I understand your problem , dear first mildly abnormal cell signifies either infection or CIN 1 so get the proper diagnosis by your doctor and get treated or otherwise in future it will be a problem . Secondly pain in right iliac fossa ( area of right ovary ) may be due to various reason like appendicitis , pelvic inflammatory disease etc so consult the gynaecologist and get the thorough examination done to rule out cause of pain and treatment accordingly. Third and last after rectifying your problem you can try for pregnancy by having sex on fertile days which are 2 days prior and 3 days after ovulation. ALL THE BEST , HOPE YOU SOON CONCEIVE. THANKS THANKS
