Can Advent Syrup Cause Loose Motion And How To Cure The Anal Rashes Due To Loose Motion In A 2 Months Old Baby?

Doc...I hv a two months old baby who had chest congestion so the doc gave advent syrup and after that she got loose motion and little motion every now n den in her nappy.is it due to the syrup and vl it stop after stopping the syrup? Pls advise a cream for the baby because her anal area got red due to loose motion

Thanks for your query.
Diarrhea is common side effect of antibioctics.
Relax,it will be ok after stopping medicine.
Give probiotic twice a day.
Apply calamine over red area.
