Is Toxim-o Syrup And Toxim-o Dry Syrup Same?

Hi Doctor, I have a son of 8 months old.We had travelled from Bangalore to chennai for a vacation last week due to change in climate. My son had got fever. so doctor suggested toxim-o dry syrup,sinarest-af & mucolite. After three days my son was ok.But this medicine is for 7 days. Should i continue giving these medicines to my son or can i stop it. In bangalore i could find only toxim-O syrup it is not mentioned as dry syrup on the raper as it was mentioned in chennai toxim-o syrup cover are these two syrups same.

Hi,

Dry syrup means medication will be in powder form and syrup should be prepared by mixing the powder with distilled water given along with it. Only syrup (non Dry) means already liquid formulation will be available for ready to use. Dosage and effectiveness will be same in both types of syrups. I will suggest to Continue the medication for prescribed one week to complete the course of treatment.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
