Can Alcohol Be Taken Along With Zoloft?

hi i just started talking 25mg of zoloft 4 days ago. i heard if you drink alcohol then it can effect it but i thought it meant if u get drunk or had a lot. last night i had less then half of cup of mikes hard lemonade. today i feel like my anxiety & depression is a little strong today. did it effect me?

Hello, Since Tablet ZOLFT is used to treat depression, panic attacks and OCDs, it is always good to taking alcohol with such compounds. Alcohol may not directly interfere with its pharmacokinetics or actions, but depression can be more because of it. So please avoid it. Thanks.
