Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
In early March I had an upper respiratory infection and was prescribed Amoxicillin, i got a very bad yeast infection from it. So my Dr called me in Diflucan and I took that but it did not go away. He called me in an additional dose. I proceeded to take that. Meanwhile, I was due for my yearly pap smear and mammogram so I made my appt with my Gyne and she prescribed Clobetasol Propionate cream. To use 2 x daily then as needed. In the meantime, I had a checkup with my dentist for a cleaning and he gave me a rx for Nystati n. I m still having issues. I do drink beer, about 3 per day. Could I possibly be having an affect from the yeast in the beer and is there something I need to do to address this issue. I m really getting worried. Thank you for your help!
