Can Alfalfa Supplement Be Taken While Suffering From Rheumatoid Arthritis?

Is Alfalfa safe for someone who has rheumatoid arthritis? It was suggested by a physician who has written books about supplements and health, however one of my customers who has RA said that she read on WEB MD that it was not suggested. Thanking you in advance for your response.
