Hello,

Allopurinol has given for gout-related arthritis and pain. Gout cause by an accumulation of uric acid crystals in joints. This uric acid production by protein metabolism. So along with drugs, the main treatment for gout is a protein-restricted diet. Amino acids are precursors of protein. So if you take amino acids, then there are high chances that your gout may worsen. So better to consult your doctor first before starting amino acids.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
