Can An Abnormal Activity In The Nipple Be A Sign Of Possible Breast Cancer?

I am 47 and lost my mum to breast cancer also my aunt had breast cancer .my concern is that my right nibble pulls in only when I raise my arms.sometimes not much then others times more should I get it checked.my mum was 46 when she got cancer and passed away at 48.her sister was about 70 .but passed away at 72 from a bleed on the brain.what do You think ?.

The symptom that you seem to have suggests nipple retraction. A history of recent onset of nipple retraction warrants a thorough investigation including -clinical examination, Mammogram +/- biopsy/ FNAC. In view of family history of breast cancer and because of your age I would advise you to have a consultation with a surgeon with a Mammogram.
On the flip side not all nipple changes are indicative of cancer.
Also routine screening mammogram is indicated annually for you in your age group.
